Operation Ecuador represents a cooperation of ministries of the Churches of Christ to work together for God’s glory in Ecuador. In keeping with our Restoration Movement roots, OE is a movement of compassion and purpose, grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ. For more than 35 years, we have walked alongside communities throughout Ecuador, responding to both physical and spiritual needs.
We believe that true transformation begins in the heart and flows outward into families, communities, and future generations. That’s why our mission is holistic: we care for the soul, the mind, and the body.
Through our ministries—such as the Kumanni Christian Center in the jungle region of Esmeraldas, Camp Bellevue in the highlands of Cayambe, and EQEB International Bible School in Quito—we nurture leaders, disciple new believers, educate children, support families, and build up communities.
Everything we do is rooted in our faith in Christ and a deep love for the people of Ecuador. Whether through biblical education, community development, youth retreats, or health initiatives, we aim to serve with excellence and compassion, always pointing to the hope we have in the Gospel.
Our History
Since 1988, Operation Ecuador Foundation has worked tirelessly in communities along the coast, in the mountains, and in the Ecuadorian Amazon. We were founded with a clear purpose: to bring the love of Christ where it is most needed, through compassionate action, biblical education, and community outreach.
With a presence in places like the Cayapas River, Cayambe, and Quito, we have seen lives transformed, young people empowered, and communities strengthened over more than three decades.
Kumanni Center
A beacon of hope in the middle of the jungle. Kumanni offers pastoral care, Christian formation, education, and community support in one of the most remote areas of the country.
Bellevue Camp
A space for spiritual renewal, youth workshops, and retreats, Bellevue has been a meeting place for hundreds of young people seeking to grow in their faith and leadership.
